WARDOGS Mortar and Artillery Fundamentals
Learn the spotter-to-gun workflow for WARDOGS mortars and artillery, with release-verified controls and no unreliable beta firing tables.
CONFIRMED CORE
- Players are asking about bearing, map distance, spotting, corrections, and supply relationships.
- Those questions establish documentation need, not a verified firing solution.
- Two current community tools conflict by roughly 4.5× on a reported beta mortar range.
LIVE BUILD CHECK
- Weapon/platform names and controls
- Range, elevation, time of flight, and dispersion
- Ammunition and resource cost
- Map calibration and coordinate origin
The safe communication loop
The spotter identifies a target and reference, the gun crew confirms orientation, one round is observed, and the correction is repeated clearly. That is ordinary indirect-fire communication, not a claim about WARDOGS controls.
One correction at a time
Use a shared direction and a consistent correction format. Avoid changing bearing, range, ammunition, and target description simultaneously when the goal is to learn what moved the impact.
Why there is no calculator
A firing table would imply precision that the current evidence does not support. We will measure the Early Access build independently before publishing any game-specific numbers.
