WARDOGS Progression, Class XP and Unlocks Guide
Understand the test-era relationship between six class XP tracks, WARDOG Level, unlocks, purchases and seasonal resets without treating beta rules as launch facts.

Separate class XP from WARDOG Level
The current community handbook presents six class XP tracks and a broader WARDOG Level as different layers of progression. Treat the track names, XP sources and account-level calculation as test-era information until they appear in the current game.
Compare the result screen after one clear role activity with an ordinary objective match. Read every XP label separately instead of combining them into a single progress number. If one action moves two tracks, note both changes.
Progress the role you actually perform
Choose a clear battlefield responsibility, then compare your actions with the XP category shown after the match. Carrying specialist equipment does not necessarily mean every action contributes to that class track; use the result screen to see what moved.
Avoid a beta-derived fastest-XP route on day one. A repeatable team action that supports the objective is a better baseline because it advances useful play even when reward tuning changes.
An unlock is not automatically a purchase
Test-era sources distinguish reaching an unlock condition from automatically owning the related equipment. When a notification appears, open the relevant menu and check whether the item was granted, became purchasable, requires cash, or still has another prerequisite.
After access opens, use the money guide to decide whether buying the new option still leaves enough cash for a workable fallback kit.
Check prerequisites before planning a grind
For each desired item or capability, read its visible requirement, the progress screen that advances it and any faction, class, level or currency condition shown by the current game. Do not fill a missing field with a value copied from a beta table.
Check one low-level unlock from a clean account if possible. Existing test accounts can hide onboarding steps, prior rewards or converted progress that a new player will encounter.
Do not assume what a season reset removes
Community references discuss seasons and resets, but the current game and first-party season notes should define what actually resets. Level, class XP, unlock permission, purchased equipment, cash, statistics and cosmetics are separate fields and may not share one rule.
Before spending time on a long progression target, read the season label and any in-game reset explanation. If the policy is not stated, do not assume that a reward is permanent or temporary.
Check XP on the results screen
Compare the XP screen before and after one clear action. Note the role, match result, class XP change, WARDOG Level change, unlock message and whether the unlocked item still costs cash. A few repeated results are more useful than a complete-looking beta table.
Use the XP requirements, multipliers and level caps shown in your current build. Recheck them after a progression or season update rather than assuming the first value you see is permanent.
