WARDOGS Loadouts and Battlefield Roles Explained

Learn how WARDOGS loadouts create battlefield roles, how to plan a kit around one task, and which launch-build details still need verification.

Official core mappedEarly Access: August 29, 2026

CONFIRMED CORE

  • Developers explicitly reject a fixed-class model.
  • Equipment, items, and vehicles are described as the building blocks of a role.
  • Official material names inventory and weight as loadout decisions.

LIVE BUILD CHECK

  • Item catalog, prices, and unlock rules
  • Weight thresholds and slot behavior
  • Armor, damage, and ammunition comparisons
  • Any claim framed as a best build

Roles are outcomes, not menu locks

Start with the work that needs doing. An objective player, medic/support player, driver, builder, spotter, or indirect-fire crew can all emerge from equipment choices without becoming a fixed class.

Ask four questions about a kit

What team task does it solve? What must remain mobile? What happens if the kit is lost? Who needs to coordinate with it? Those questions are safe before launch even while exact item numbers remain unknown.

What we will not guess

No named best builds, prices, armor tiers, weight cutoffs, or unlock tables will be published from beta fragments. Those fields need a current-build capture.

REVISION PROTOCOL

This route keeps its URL through launch. Only claims supported by the current build replace the pre-release boundary notes.
